This monotypic genus was originally thought to be a member of family Helicarionidae, but was shown by Hyman (2005) to belong to family Punctidae. Dignamoconcha dulcissima Iredale, 1944 Pagoda Pinhead Snail Shell. Size: H = 3.3 mm, D = 5.7 mm. Colour: Pale golden brown with white radial streaks. Shape: Trochoidal with a stepped, pagoda-like spire; whorl profile flattened above and below a strongly keeled periphery; last two whorls descending rapidly, giving spire a stepped appearance. Sculpture: Protoconch sculptured with spiral grooves, teleoconch sculptured with spiral and radial lirae. Aperture: Diamond- shaped. Umbilicus: Widely open, bordered by strong angulation. Animal.
