Found in litter, or in the crutch between palm stems and trunks. Remarks. Gudeoconcha sophiae magnifica is the largest helicarionid in Australia. Despite targeted collecting, this species has not been seen since 2002. If it is still extant, population size should be positively affected by the 2019 rodent eradication.
