127 Goweriana berniciae Habitat and occurrence. Known only from a few specimens, mostly from the upper slopes of Mt Gower but with one sample from Transit Hill. Living in litter in rainforest. Very rare. Remarks. This rare species is probably under-collected partly due to its small size and its thin and fragile shell, which would break down quickly in leaf litter.
