103 Innesoconcha segna Iredale, 1944 Pale Glass-Snail Shell. Size: H = 5.9-7.8 mm, D = 10.7-12 mm. Colour: Pale golden yellow. Shape: Depressedly trochoidal with a low spire; whorls rounded. Sculpture: Shell glossy, with fine, incised spiral grooves. Aperture: Ovately lunate, width greater than height; columella thickened to form a small tooth. Umbilicus: Closed. Animal. Body colour (in alcohol) light orange-brown. Key distinguishing features. Large, pale shell with a rounded periphery and low spire; columellar thickening forming a small tooth. Habitat and occurrence. Known only from Boat Harbour and Rocky Run Creek. Very rare. Remarks. This species is currently considered to be a synonym of I. catletti . However, the two forms show differences in their genital anatomy as well as their shells (Hyman, 2005), so we include Innesoconcha segna here as a distinct species.
